Teen singer/actress SELENA GOMEZ made a group of sick youngsters' dreams come true by appearing at a special meet-and-greet event earlier this week (begs25Jun12).

The former Wizards of Waverly Place star has long supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to youngsters with life-threatening diseases, and she took time out from her busy schedule on Wednesday (27Jun12) to mingle with fans from the organization.

Gomez posted a picture of her with a young girl at the event on her Facebook.com page on Thursday (28Jun12) and wrote: "I had one of the best days in a long time yesterday, had a Make-a-Wish event at Dave and Buster's (restaurant) where I got to meet with several families and their kids. We all had such a great time."
