My step-sister and I, in a moment of emotional frailty, overstepped the taboo line and made love to each other. It happened after I broke up with my girlfriend, and by sheer coincidence, my step-sister broke up with her boyfriend of four years that same week. I visited her and stayed over at her apartment during a weekend. We were both seeking consolation with each other. The first morning, I went to the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around me for a shower. Unbeknownst to me, my step-sister was already inside, wearing a gown. I said I was sorry and would wait for her to finish, but she told me to go ahead. To cut a long story short, she joined me under the shower. It was the first time we had seen each other naked since we were kids. We started off soaping each other's body, but then embraced under the running water. On the spur of the moment, we began to have sex. We both realized what we were doing and I tried to stop, but she held me close and said "no, don't stop, I need you." We stayed coupled until we finished. We have not repeated having sex, but have talked about it a few times. The strange thing is that neither of us feels shame or guilt about having overstepped the taboo line. For both of us, it was a liberating and even therapeutic experience at that stage of mutual emotional frailty. For the time being, I do not think that we will ever do it again.
