Are You Boring in Bed?
By Laura Snyder
Hey, was that a yawn you just saw your sweetheart stifle? Worried your lovemaking is becoming more stale than spine-tingling? If you recognize yourself in any of these little clues, it might be time to shake up your sex life.
You Play "Lover, May I?"
Asking permission is just not passionate. There's nothing sexy about a lover asking for sex the same way they'd ask if it was alright to change the channel on the television. An exciting love will take pains to make sure their partner wants to get down and dirty. An intense look, or certain touch, is much hotter than hearing, "Hey, you wanna do it?"
You're Predictable
It's great that you know exactly what gets you and your partner hot and bothered. But it's boring when it leads you into making love by rote. Touch here, kiss there, etc. Why not switch things up for a change? Make the first move, if you're usually the one responding to your honey's advances. Or be coy and play the lust object if you're usually the aggressor. In other words, do the exact opposite of what you normally do and enjoy your partner's reaction to the intriguing new you.
You're Just Going Through the Motions
Go the extra mile occasionally, or be prepared for your lover to find someone who will. Sexy lingerie and moody music aren't always necessary accoutrements to good lovin', but a little extra romance is fun once in awhile.
You Never Speak Up
Sometimes your sex life hits the snooze button because you've let your lover coast along doing something hum-drum instead of hot-damn. If that's the case, tonight's the night to share exactly what would make you tingle right down to your toes. Experiment with new languages of love - whispered words, heavy breathing, moans, sighs, and even shouts.
You Ignore Those Other Erogenous Zones
Just because you know the center of his or her sexual universe doesn't mean you should ignore his or her other erogenous galaxies. Take the time to explore some other sensitive spots, like the back of his neck or his inner thighs.
