I went out with this guy for the whole summer and half of the school year when he broke up with me. I wasn't too upset, but when he called later on and asked me out again. I was so happy, I thought I would die. He told me not to tell anyone about it, so I agreed to keep quiet. Well, we had been going out secretly for about a week when my friend came up to me at school and asked me if I would be upset if she showed me something. I agreed, and she pointed over to the far corner. There was my "boyfriend" surrounded by friends and holding hands with a girl that he had gone out with before. Prior to this he had insisted that he didn't like her anymore. Then something worse happened. He leaned in and kissed her, right on the lips, and right in front of me! Well, since I was pretending that we weren't going out, I had to look at my friend and shrug like I didn't care one way or the other. But inside, I was screaming. Later at home I called him. When I tried to confront him, he got all defensive and said that if I wasn't going to be able to trust him, then maybe we shouldn't go out. I just called him an SOB and hung up.
