I met a man on a dating website. We sent each other e-mails and finally decided to go out on a date a few days later. We had a lovely dinner, hit it off swimmingly, and continued to see each other a few more times that week. On Saturday, he phoned to tell me that he had forgotten about four tickets he had and asked if I would like to go. I agreed to go, as he had suggested that we go out to dinner afterwards. Well, low and behold, they were tickets to a Saturday church service. I am not a churchgoer. However, I am open-minded to people who go. I ended up enjoying the service. We went to dinner with his best friend and wife, and also had a lovely time. We all seemed to get along very well. The next day, he said he was going down to visit his daughters and would be back earlier in the afternoon. Needless to say, he never phoned. I had left a couple of messages because we were experiencing a terrible rainstorm and I was genuinely concerned about him. That same evening, I saw him online on that same website. Wow, what a slap in the face that was. After a week he still hasn't called, but it's not like I am expecting him to at this point. -- Janice, 23
