About fourteen years ago, I lived with this man that I was head over heels for. I had a daughter by another man, but he was the most intriguing man I had ever known in my life, and he was so good to my infant daughter. I would have stayed with him forever. But I guess all the responsibility that he was looking at scared him. So, he ran. We both went on with our lives. He has been married for the past twelve years with no children. I was married for eight years and now have three children. His wife, who happens to be my dad's newest girlfriend's grand daughter, left him for another man. We caught up to each other recently and have spent a lot of time with each other. We have a lot of the same interests and hobbies. We still care for each other, but he is desperately scared again. He has said he was not sure what was going on in his life right now but wanted me to be patient with him this time. He was so in love with this other woman. It is now Valentine's Day, and I wish he could make my dream come true, since it didn't fourteen years ago, and be my valentine.
