Thanks But No Thanks
A guy I was dating for a few, brief months called me and invited me to go to a rodeo with him and his friend. After I worked a ten-hour day, I drove the fifty miles to the rodeo and met him in the beer garden. The first thing he said to me was, "You know this isn't going anywhere." I was confused by the statement, but I let it pass. A little later he said, "You know, there are some girls you bring home to Mom, and some you don't." When I asked him what he meant, he just laughed and said to forget it. Then, he pretended like he was going to pour his beer on me, not once but twice, and got really upset when I grabbed the glass from him and it broke. When we decided to leave, he started walking away with his friend like I wasn't even there. I walked the quarter of a mile to my car alone, at 1:30 in the morning, and just went directly home. In between all of his little stunts that night, he completely ignored me. He called the next day to apologize but at that point I was like, "Thanks but, NO THANKS!"
