Poetry: Kisses
The Unexpected Kiss
by Calvin

I was standing at the bar when she came over,
and tapped me on the shoulder,
and without hesitation put her lips to mine.
It was pure exhilaration,
being kissed without provication
our breathing deapened, and matched in time.
Lights were flashing before eyes,
even though my eyes are closed,
my ears, pick up passions song.
Realization comes when the kiss is done,
that neither knew the other one,
a quick blushing smile, an apology, and she was gone.

What did you think of this poem?
I loved it!
It was good.
I'm pretty neutral.
Not really my style.
It left me cold.
