Poetry: Heartbreak & Healing
Since Her Divorce
by Clyde Garceo

Since her divorce life has taken a different course

she sleeps on a bed of remorse

that gets bigger every night

she sleeps on the left

her memories on the right

since her divorce

she is filled with uncertainty

since her divorce

even her mirrors don't like what they see

that is why they are clouded constantly

since her divorce

every song is sad

as she looks back

at what she had

never thought she would feel so bad

since her divorce.

I loved it!
It was good.
I'm pretty neutral.
Not really my style.
It left me cold.
