Poetry: Friendship & Soulmates
Poetry
by shawnda seiler/elizabeth gerkovich

Spinning words into a thread,
a tapestry of thoughts unsaid.
Stories told straight from the heart,
a moral sweetly to impart.

Like the sorrow felt on a rainy day.
wishing you had a way to say,
the way you feel when no ones around,
is why you write these words that abound.

My heart is open to what i feel,
so i put forth that which to me is real.
Not able to stop the tears that fall,
so my pen and paper catch them all.

What did you think of this poem?
I loved it!
It was good.
I'm pretty neutral.
Not really my style.
It left me cold.
