Poetry: Friendship & Soulmates
the truth
by Joe Johnston

I'd never lie to you
unless i had to
ill do what i got to
unless i had to
ill do what i got to
the truth
is that you can slit my throat
and with my one last gasping breath
id apologize for bleeding on your shirt.

What did you think of this poem?
I loved it!
It was good.
I'm pretty neutral.
Not really my style.
It left me cold.
