Poetry: Friendship & Soulmates
I Can't Be With You
by Kaylea Nicole

I remember all the times we shared, and the nights I lay awake in bed. The thought of you would come to mind, and I'd wish you were mine.

You had a girl that treated you bad, and you'd come to me when you were sad. I'd help you as much as I could and try to keep you from being so blue.

Then I started falling for you, and I didn't know what to do. I'd sit around wondering how you felt and if you loved me as well.

Finally I knew that it was true, that you'd love me until the end. So here I sit in love with you, but I can't be with you.

What did you think of this poem?
I loved it!
It was good.
I'm pretty neutral.
Not really my style.
It left me cold.
