Poetry: Lust & Passion
Reduction
by Jarvis Black

she made of me a boy.
my heart studdered,
my lips went empty.
her very presence
buckled my knees.
the softness of her skin,
her bare back pressed
to my cheek
stole all the words
from my argot.
I shivered there,
in her shadow,
and have dreamt of her
for days.

What did you think of this poem?
I loved it!
It was good.
I'm pretty neutral.
Not really my style.
It left me cold.
