Poetry: Bitter Poetry
Can't Wait
by Clyde Garceo

She smiles twenty four hours a day

thinks true love has finally come her way

but I can't wait

till her heart is broken

it may sound cruel

but I was her fool

she not only lied with her kisses

but with her words

that i loved to hear

oh how I wish I could hear them again

oh I wish her tears would fall

after all mine have all been cried

I not only lost her

but I lost my pride

I loved it!
It was good.
I'm pretty neutral.
Not really my style.
It left me cold.
